What we do
We are a student-run organization dedicated to encouraging more girls in academia to pursue STEM fields by providing early exposure to scientific principles, hands-on learning opportunities, mentorship, and access to the resources they need to confidently explore and succeed in the field of their choice
Meet our founders
Anoushka, Sharika, Rihana, and Anika are a team of high school students from James Logan High School who joined together to form FemmeInSTEM during their sophomore year. Previously, they had collaborated STEMBudz, a nonprofit club dedicated to providing academic opportunities for underserved elementary school students. During their work, they observed a steady decline in elementary school girls’ interest in STEM fields. They began FemmeInSTEM with the mission of normalizing the exploration of STEM at an early age.

What We Achieved
In the span of three years, we have implemented our STEM Fair programs into the NHUSD school district, started female- focused coding classes for elementary students, held a massive science fair for NHUSD and FUSD elementary students, and held many more activities!
Be a Part Of
Our Mission
We aim to bring a STEM education to all girls regardless of financial status or race. We believe that too many women are deterred from entering STEM out of fear or lack of exposure, and we strive to fix that problem.
