Anoushka Kolluru

As the President and Founder of FemmeInSTEM, I wanted to highlight the importance of supporting young kids in STEM. By offering opportunities like science fairs, tutoring, and enrichment classes, FemmeInSTEM empowers children to explore their interests, contribute their perspectives, and unlock their full potential in STEM fields. Through my experiences working with Elementary schools, both in-person and online, I have discovered my passion for creating impactful educational initiatives that raise awareness. As a rising senior at James Logan High School, I am inspired to make a difference in the world through education.   Follow more  updates on @femmeinstem

Sharika Pattanshetty

Hi! I am Sharika Pattanshetty, a Founder and the Secretary of FemmeInSTEM, a nonprofit based at James Logan High School. I am currently a rising senior at James Logan High School, and some of my interests involve STEM and business. As a part of FemmeInSTEM, I am able to see the impact I am making when I work with children; whether it’s tutoring, mentoring, or even guiding them through a series of steps to build something. Watching their faces light up while a huge smile grows on their face is the reason I do this. Allowing them to explore new experiences in STEM and encouraging them through difficult paths is incredibly motivating, and I am so grateful to be a part of their success.
